Criminal Penalties
If convicted of DUI you can expect a fine of $300 to $10,000, alcohol treatment, potential of 6 months probation to 5 years in prison. Ignition interlock can also be expected for any DUI convict with driving privileges. This device measures the BAC of the driver using their breath. The driver will not be able to start or operate the car with an elevated BAC.
